The project was carried out on a pitched roof with PVC roofing membrane and EPS thermal insulation on a wooden substrate. Due to the roof slope, it was not possible to use a traditional ballasted mounting system. The most suitable solution was the anchoring system SOLATECH DIM PVC, which is compatible with various types of substrates. For this installation, the DIM PVC XL version was used, enabling safe mechanical anchoring without additional ballast.
For the installation of 190 photovoltaic panels, a total of 625 pcs of DIM PVC XL were used. Anchoring was performed through thermal insulation with a thickness of 120 mm using anchoring material consisting of 85 mm telescopic anchors and 4.8 × 80 mm wood screws.
For proper surface preparation, SOLATECH CLEAN for PVC was also supplied to ensure optimal conditions for reliable anchoring. All materials were delivered as part of a complete package, allowing the installation to proceed from day one without delays caused by missing components.
The customer made use of SOLATECH technical support, and a certified installation company was recommended for the project – VOKITECO. Their extensive experience with the installation of DIM elements and subsequent mounting structure installation provided a guarantee of fast and trouble-free project completion.
