The project was completed on a flat roof with a bituminous roofing membrane installed on a concrete substrate. The roof could not accommodate the additional load of a conventional ballasted mounting system. The customer used SOLATECH technical support. The following steps were carried out to ensure the successful completion of the project:
- The correct number of SOLATECH DIM BIT anchoring points was designed for the bituminous roofing membrane using bituminous collars.
- Suitable anchoring materials and installation accessories were specified.
- The correct connection of the SOLATECH DIM BIT elements to the existing bituminous surface was reviewed and consulted.
